Heya guys!

Reflection on Zion Zone Camp Nov '07

Well, I seriously think that this whole camp was FUN! Although the attendance saddens me, i still think that the camp was way great, meaningful and fruitful to me as i have learnt lots of stuff from it.

Day 1
We started off with the preparation of the water bombs(credits to melissa, paulyn, eunice, me and minyen) and soon, we then proceeded to the playing part. We were all soaking wet but i guess we all had a laugh about it as it was really enjoyable splashing and throwing water bombs at each other! hehe...
Next, we played scissors, papers, stone on the benches and that's where paulyn got injured on her foot. It all happened when one of the benches fell and I was playing on it and ya, I fell but unhurt but paulyn was standing beside and therefore it hit onto her foot. She was in pain and everyone started to comfort her with soothing words and encouragement. I felt really touched and suddenly thought that this world is such a happy place to live in where everyone shows their concern for you. hehe...
After that, we had training and indoor games and lunch.
Next was amazing race. As paulyn's foot was injured, she decided to stop halfway as the pain was overwhelming. I followed her and we went back to our bunk to take a rest. Melissa was there too as one of the contact lences broke in her eye and she was indeed in pain. She took her contact lences out already but her eye was still red and painful. I really pitied her as i can sort of feel her pain as my mama and sis and bro got sore eyes before and they felt really painful already and I bet mel felt double the pain.
Next, we had dinner and it was time for our training and then, nightwalk. The nightwalk was really, freaking SCARY!!!!!!!!!!! Arhhhhh!!!!!!! We were holding each other's hands really tightly, not wanting to let go. This shows how scared we all were.
Paulyn went home after that and Johnson carried her down the stairs!!!!!!!!!!! haha! Through the camp, I have found out that he is really caring and helpful as not only did he help Paulyn with her foot injury, he also helped Melissa with her eye injury. Thanks man!
After the washing up, Minyen came back with her ahem ahem.... hehe! Some thought that ahem ahem was handsome and hot! haha! After she washed up, she told us some of her personal stuff and ya, i suddenly felt that my relationship between Minyen and all the Zion Zone members became closer. And after that, nites!

2nd Day
We had breakfast, training, lunch and then i needed to go for my jap class. When i came back, it was time for bbq. We ate hotdogs, fish, pork... It was quite fun during the bbq as me and mel played the charcoal game. My face ended up so balck with all the charcoal fingerprints and stokes on it, thanks to melissa... haha! After that, we also had training and then, we proceeded to treasure hunt! The zion zone members were suppossed to scare the pa crew but I guess we ended up more scared ourselves! haha! After that, i had to go home due to some *ahem stuff...
OHya! Mel's eye was totally recovered by then! yay!

3rd Day
We had our morning exercises, breakfast and debrief.

Overall, I felt that the meals were alright, the people were fun to hang out with and I ahve learnt lots of stuff such as using the mixer to create a clearer sound, bonding with the zion zone and pa members and last but not least, I have learnt to show my compassion, sympathy, love, care and concern to those around me. Once again, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to Minyen(for taking care of us during the camp), Clarice(for coming to visit us despite being so busy), Paulyn(for giving me a chance to show my concern for you and partnering me during
the amazing race and spending so many hours thinking about the games for the camp with me), Eunice(for caring so much for Melissa and participating in most of the camp activities), Melissa(for staying through out the whole camp and making me know how caring zz and pa members are), Jessica(for making an effort to attend our camp despit having singout), Qihui(for staying through out the whole camp despite being the only sec 1 around), Johnson(for caring so much for the zz members and planning the camp), Petrina(for planning the camp), Clara and Sijie(for making an effort to attend the camp), other pa crew(for making this camp so lively).

DAY ONE
reach skool at 7.40 plus
was late as usual
haha !
met ah kok & went in, saw crystal :D
then while we wait for others
we went to make water bombs !
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeets !
after 8am , only qihui came
was expecting bigbig group de
as crystal told me 11 ppl going
but end up only 5-7 of us =/
the rest MIA .
damn disappointing laas
first ice breaker game played - water bombs
omgs la, min yen lovessss to bomb us canns
in the end , end up partially wet !
how sweet ! x/
then play the scissor paper stone ! game
kinda regret
cos we got way tooooo excited
& the bench fall . on paulyn !
ouch ! somemore paulyn just fall while playing the water bomb
now fall again , on the same leg la

then we went back zion zone room play murderer&pass the parcel until lunch

then play amazing race

DAY TWO
woke up by melissa&crystal =/
then went down do morning exercise
then ate breakfast
though i ate only 1 biscuits
then went back bunk slack
johnson&jason were at our bunk watching ghost show
then i damn tired lurhs . mentally&physically xD
so want sleep
then that johnson keep wake me up
raaaaaaah ! =/
then finally had some sleep
then clara came & i woke up
was drag downstair to play some games
butbut saw sarah x)
so went to join her
then went gb farewell
quite fun :DD
but i miss the zionzone&audio crew bbq
which thank god i didnt go :X
cos i heard that they ate 150 hotdogs
oh my !
all pigs ! LOLS . kiddinq :X
paulyn dad drop us off at the yck mrt station (thanks uncle ! )
then run back school
had treasure hunt .
quite fun laas
but was super tired so wasnt that entu >.<
went bath
then went back our bunk
all the audio crew member & zion zone members gather there watch ghost show
super damn scary
regret watching .
LOL xD
watch till 2am plus
supersupersuper tired .

DAY THREE
awwwwww ! last day of camp ! :(
woke up at at 8plus
went to do morning exercise with audio crew members
the jia rui? damn funny larhs
kept laughing ;DDD
had breakfast
then debrief
then clean up & stuffs
& finally break camp ! :DD

MELISSA HERE to blog about our Zion Zone + audio crew camp [ combined ]

DAY ONE
reached school at around 7.40 sharp.
a little late =X Should be at 7.30 sharp de! SORRY CRYSTAL!
Crystal was the first to reach alright. always the most punctual. :D
YAYS ! we all must really learn from her. hahas.
Yeahs. Me and Eunice were the second to reach [cuz we meet together]
Then we help Crystal to make WATER BOMB (:
Then Min Yen came, followed by Paulyn.
Oh yah. And Qi Hui too. :D
Budden only got the five of us ><
so when everyone came, we checked into our bunks and the interactive games started :]]

AND NONE OF THE GUYS TURNED UP WHICH IS SO DISAPPOINTING !
so the first game of the day, we played water bomb !
The game goes like this: We have to answer questions and if we get it wrong, TADAS !
our clothes get wet x(

Then the next game was the scissor paper stone game
Ahh. This game was disastrous.
we played until halfway, Then the bench fall, and PAULYN was standing near the bench.
So the bench obviously fall on her )x WHICH IS LIKE SO PAINFUL !
Better don't talk about it ><
Dearest PAULYN. hope you will recover soon!
Rest well and don't run about too much until your leg is fully healed :D

So after that, we went back to Zion Zone room, since the game cannot be continued any more.
Then we played murderer, and pass the present until lunch time.

After lunch, we had amazing race !
AND MinYen didn't join us T.T.
nevertheless, we had much fun ;]
My group members were adelin, banglian, jingxian, xueni, veronica and ME
seniors were Alicia, xavier, Yaozong.

So Alicia handed us the first clue.
Then we solved it.
but it ended up to be the WRONG clue!
lucky we solved the correct clue before the train arrived :D
So our first stop was Novena, where we had to finish a medium coke.
Then, went to our next station which was city hall. {:
our task was to find the war memorial park and take photos with 5 people.

so we went to our next station: Kallang.
Alicia gave us part 2 of the clue, which was the 大长今 song.
That was the nicest stop. Cause it was the only one which i knew where it was ! :D
So we rushed to the restuarant, took a picture of it and off we go to our next place
Yeahs. And if i never remember wrongly, my eyes started to get itchy here and it keeps tearing.
but i didn't tell my members or anyone ><
Cause, i don't want them to slow down cause of me. So we went on.

NEXT STATION: army market.
we had to find the pictures in the paper that alicia had gave us.
and we solved it real quick. :D
next stop: dhoby ghuat.
had to go to cathay building to check the moving timings.
[ which i think i didn't went with them? cause my contacts really anoying]
and the hao xin Yao Zhong helped me to buy eye drop for contacts.
So for this station, veronica me and Yao Zhong didn't go with the rest.

So after the rest came back, we went to the next place, newton.
have to find someone who can answer any of newton's law.
then the girl that we purposely dont want to ask first knew the answer. x(
So, we completed the task.

Then the next station was Bishan.
AND my contacts give me so much problem, that i had no choice but to go back school x(
Xavier accompanied me back, Then i went to toilet and took the contact out.
When i walked out of the toilet saw CRYSTAL :D
So she told me she and paulyn came back school cause paulyn's leg very pain.
Yeahs. Then we went back to classroom and guess what? WE SLEEP!
Slept until Eunice and QiHui came back from the amazing race.

Then Clarice came. :D
My eyes were so frustrating la !
when i was sleeping it was ok.
Then when wake up my eyes so pain again, althought my contact was taken OUT LE !
FRUSTRATING T.T

Then when dinner time, i can't stand the pain, i CRIED out! x(
Then clarice and the others ask me what happen, and i said my eyes super pain!
So Clarice asked me to take a rest first, and dinner will be brought to me.
So i went to sleep. then wake up that time, eyes pain again ! =.=
Not long, clarice came back with my packet of rice, followed by the others.
and my dearest EUNICE was so KIND :D
so feed me! But one spoon of rice[only rice] $100!

Then Clarice called Johnson come.
And he brought with him the eye wash? two types.
The first one cannot works. so we used the 2nd one
Which was so funny larhs !
That one is press one. and i put my eyes at the hole there.
then the water will splash out, which is like urine. x)
Yeahs. And after a few of the "URINE" eye wash, my eyes feel better.

So we went to Mr Choo's training.
Then after that is the night walk.
Before the night walk or somewhr in the middle of it, Clarice went home X(
SO SAD! so couldn't stay overnight.
Which is quite scary :D But i guess is we ownself scare ourself! LOLS
Then after the night walk, we went bathing, then went back to our bunk
And waited for Min Yen to come back.
After some GHOST stories of Min Yen and Eunice, we went to sleep :]]

DAY TWO
woke up at around 7 plus. {SO EARLY :D}
Had pt [which was so tiring !] before our breakfast.
Clara, Si Jie and Jessica joined us for today events :D
Then after that, we had all sorts of games.
And one of them was the 终极密码
loser will have to get bombed la.
But in the end they used one whole pail of water.
Which was so funny.
And we also played the captain's ball. using the audio crew's super duper big
RED BALL to play.
Which is so hard to catch la. TT
And my team loses. ):
So the other team get to bomb us !
SADDED . But it was fun ! :]]
after that, Si Jie and clara went home :(

after the water games, we went back to our bunks and dried ouselves :]]
Feel so cleaned :D:D
Then HERE comes the BBQ part.
But for the BBQ part, we only EAT (:
They brought like 150 HOTDOGS.
So we had hotdogs for appetizer, hotdogs for main course and STILL hotdogs for dessert.
Got prawns. But didn't get to eat it ):
Then got some fish and chicken.
Jessica ate ONE hotdog. Then she went off also ]:
halfway through Min Yen came back, with lots of tibits that she brought for everyone of us. :D
So we ate some of the tibits too.
Then some of us played scissor paper stone and the winner gets to use charcoal to draw on the winner's face. So fun ;D
and i drew a lot of funny things on Crystal's face ;D
YAYS :D:D

Then after all these games, we finally had our training :D
after the training, we had treasure hunt and ZION ZONE is the host.
The audio crew juniors had to verus the seniors.
the whole school was in complete darkness except for some source of light from the outside.
Then they had to find candy canes without any source of light !

yeahs. So it was quite fun. except that i had lots of mosquito bite after that X(
So we went to bathe, SUPER CLEAN AGAINS ;D
then everyone[almost] came to our bunk to watch the haunted school
Since we are in SCHOOL, the atmosphere is super scary. x:
I dare not watch quite a lot of the parts.. so i used my pink jacket to cover.
And quite a lot of us were scared.
watched the video until 2 plus, Then we went to sleep.
And Min Yen was still talking on the phone until 3 plus.

DAY THREE
slept till quite late, around 8 plus.
Then Min Yen called us all up
after washup, joined the audio people for their pt.
which is like so funny.
Then we had breakfast. [biscuits again x) actually was quite nice! hahas]
And after that is debrief and everything.
After that, we packed all our stuffs.
Then we planned to eat lunch together, but its still early.
and since everyone very tired, we cancel the lunch trip.
clean up our bunks, then checked out of it.
Returned the key to the audio people.
AND OFF WE GO.
And of course, GOODBYES to Crystal, Eunice, Qi Hui and MinYen :]]

It was quite funny.
When we are leaving that time, i got a weird weird feeling.
like 不舍得 to part with everyone.
But we still part, of course :]
So after all the goodbyes and see you, we all went home seperately :D

I really love the camp super a lot !
I learned a lot of new stuffs from the audio crew people during this camp.
The audio crew people were all fun and easy to get a long with.
AND i realised that Eunice is such is caring person :D
crystal and Min yen TOO :]]

I REALLY WANT ANOTHER CAMP AGAIN - with the audio crew people. (:
Super fun, nice and successful!
